The frame is 25 5/8″ square and the overall height is 16″. Four shafts with string heddles made of 5/2 pearl cotton. Practical weaving width is 21″. It has a 10 dent/inch reed (marked 40 dent/10cm, as this was made in Finland). The construction is quite sturdy, so the loom is a bit hefty, but not unmanageable. It does not fold. It works best on a sturdy table with a non-skid pad under it. My husband even made a raddle for it so it can be warped back-to-front. He also made a jig for tying heddles. There are currently 110 heddles on each shaft.
